her name is WIP (Wandering Imperfect Pixel) and she likes to be called Aruu because she was was last saved by an artist named so.
But the sole duty of a species like her is to collect pixels to make themselves as close perfect again, because they were deleted or abandoned before by artists not wishing to finish them; leaving them forever as WIPs. They wander various files, sites, and other data looking for stray pixels to add onto their body’s canvas, or at least those lucky enough to have their artist finish their limbs. The rest fade into pixels that may be used by other WIPs.
Many parts are disconnected (Like Aruu’s tail) because WIPs cannot reach or see their whole body as they don’t have a mirror. They tend to mess up on their eye colors for this reason. Most are still very artistic and creative though, and their canvases can also store color data that can be summoned as simple shapes (shown above).
Still trying a way to connect her tail, add the color into her right limbs, and patch up her fur, Aruu is on a mission to become perfect and somehow return to her initial creator. Aruu doesn't talk much about this dream(or at all, really), as WIPs do not have the same barrier as sourced art; they have no owner, and can be taken apart by art thieves.
The bond between a WIP and his/her artist is unbreakable, because no matter what, a creator is your creator and cannot be changed.
this is why i always finish my terrible wips i do not want to leave my beautiful babus alone
